Prof. John Osogo Ambani is a Legal Consultant with the Firm, and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He also serves as an Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Law, Kabarak University in Kenya, and is a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria in South Africa. 

Ambani has consulted for local and international organisations widely in issues that include constitutional law, human rights, legislative and regulatory drafting, governance, and law and development. Previous consultancies include being the Legislative Drafter on penal reforms in Kenya for the National Council on the Administration of Justice (Kenya), the National Committee on Criminal Justice Reforms (NCJR), and the International Development Organisation (IDLO) from 2020 to 2023. He also developed an ‘Issue and Option Paper on the Package for the Former Presidents of the Gambia’ for the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in 2020.
